Western International High School Reviews

I am about to become a sophmore at Western high and i have to say this school is the best school that i have ever been to. There are so many different cultures and backgrounds you can learn from. Also the school has a nice scholarship program, and many extra activies. This school is the best in the DPS district. Dont go to cass go to Western

This school is an excellent way to get students to take heed to diversity. i am currently a junior at this school and everyone is so different and has so much to offer! i love Western the most because it is and always will be Different. Noone expects Western to come out on top but they do! We have some of the best Extra Curricular activities in the Dps system, whether it be basketball,Swim and even Robotics!

This school should b similiar to a boys and girls club because the teaching is insuffecient for the grade level and the atmoshphere is horrid!

This school was not the best for me. Western did not explain the importance of ACT's along with SAT's or anything to prepare you for college. I would not recommend this High School for anyone.

Academics here are lacking, evening in the Honors Program. I had to request that teachers give my child more work and they didn't do it. Athletics are very political.

I have been in DPS since the 1st grade and I know personally that the schools put there children first, espically the teachers. This year I am a freshman at Western International High and i am an honors student. This school is just so marvolous. All of the teachers treat you like you were there own, there very cool and understanding, espically when it comes down to serious situations that you need help with. Here I relized that unlike other schools, this school does not have any tolerance for missbehavior. Unlike many schools hey check Identifacation cards, and has school security on every floor. Here they inforce the rules and with three skrikes your out of there. Teachers and staff does no harass you or descriminate aginst you, the treat you innocent and till proven guilty. I really love my school, because its a multi-racial school, full of spanish/english-speaking teens. DPS 4life

This school is great. All the students respond to all forms of rules. 2007 has changed these student and so has the principals! This school rocks!

The level of parental involvement here at Western is very low. Parents do not care about their childs education and we need choir back. the sports teams are excellent except for male football.

I graduated from Western in 2005 and believe that Western is a great school. However, Western does not prepare its students well enough to excel at the Un
