“My son is in the second grade. He loves the entire school atmosphere. He has never been so excited about attending school each day. His teacher is wonderful and I especially love the fact that all the students have to do exhibitions; where students stand up in front of their class and explain what they have learned over the recent trimester.”

“My son is in Kindergarten at UPA. I am very impressed with nearly everything about the school, including the class sizes (17 students). This is a new school. It is very clean and the students' artwork is posted on the walls. The Teachers are young but good, and the Principal and Superintendent are approachable and friendly. My son is reading very well and excelling very well in math and other subjects. My husband and I are usually surprised at the level of the schoolwork and homework. Some of the work I don't recall doing until 2nd or 3rd grade. The aftercare staff are very good with the kids. I'm glad I enrolled him here even though it isn't the closet school to our house.”

The afterschool programs and staff are also wonderful. I was shocked to see the low rating but I know that Mrs Gill (the principal) is working with the staff and parents to get those MEAP scores up.”
