“The Teachers at CCAE are excellent. They are more than willing to help and teach at a level well above average. The school provides all of the tools necessary to make it through a public High School. CCAE also has a Superb Spanish and Band teacher as well. They are both very passionate about there work. The Spanish teacher gives you the knowledge needed to be just ahead of those in second year spanish. The Band teacher teaches concepts that are also above the normal difficulty. I would know this because I was a previous student. I recommend that you send your kids to CCAE Middle School and Elementary. However, I believe the Highschool does not yet offer the classes I feel will have us fully prepared for college. Overall I believe that Conner Creek is one of the best schools in Michigan. Go Cougars!”

“My son attened 7th grade. He had very little homework and was not encouraged to even do any only on occasion. When this concern was brought to the principal she said they did not do alot of it for fear the kids would learn the wrong way. my son felt like he attended a detroit public school only they wore uniforms is the description he gave about his year at conner creek. they could not have a boys baseball team this spring due to the fact that not enough of the boys had passing grades to play. There were a couple of great teachers, the social studies, math and gym teacher were excellent. we will not be going back. there 3 school open house was a waste of time and very chaotic.”

“The school is doing a disservice to students, they need to spend more time on developing students skills...they are over zealous with frivolous discipline and consumed with expelling students which cause students to miss salient class work; the principal should encourage the teachers to spend more time helping students develop the skills they are going to need in high school”

“It's getting better, the sooner they can offer more the better it will get. Plus there is way too much time spent on silly discipinary issues instead of things that matter.”
