Academy of Inkster Reviews

this is a beautiful school for the learning process

Academy of Inkster is a great school. The teachers are helpful and suppourtive, the principal a good leader. The school stresses on stuctute, discipline and character education along with academics. The school also offers intership placemnt for all seniors which is what i loved most because that helped me get my current job.

Academy of Inkster is not a good school at all. The teachers are hard working and try to teach, but the problem is the students. Most of the students are mean and rude. Its hard for good students to learn because of all drama and corruption that goes on there. If you are a hard-working dedicated student, please consider another school.

I have taught the students of the Academy of Inkster for about 4 years. As a former member of the staff, I would like to say that the Academy has many strengths and many weaknesses. I have witnessed Mr. Alvarado putting his neck on the line in order to try something new to get the desired results. The teaching staff is very supportive of his vision for the school. I suggest that parents who have children who failed miserably at other high schools or in middle school will find that their child will be challenged with lots of homework and a rigerous curriculum. Unmotivated students should not be enrolled in that school because the desired standard will outpace their level of expectation.

Academy of Inkster is a great school to get one on one learning I graduated from academy of inkster In 2002 and It was a great opportunity for me. My grades went way up when I started attending this school. staff and teacher are always encouraging and they are there when you need them

I am proud to say that the Academy of Inkster is my Alma-Mater. Speaking as an alumnus I've found this to be an excellent place to learn and grow. The academic programs offered were great. There was supplemental study, which allowed students to catch up with their classwork and recieve one on one tutoring. There were also constructive extra curricular programs such as Sewing classes offered after school, the roller coaster team, and even a pom-pom squad. One of the most rewarding programs was the internship available during our senior year. This allowed us to leave campus and go to a company and work for school credit and experience. The staff knew mostly everyone by name and the principal was always involved. Anyone who is considering this school I urge you to enroll your child, it's not that big but the smaller the class size the easier it is to learn.

This school is not organized or prepared. they dont have they own lunchroom audtorium. most of the teachers dont go through the full lesson plan. Simply I'm gettin tired of it.

The Academy of Inkster is an excellent school for people to send there kids to, I have a son who attends this school and since he's been in attendence there, his grades has really changed from bad to good. This school has a positive impact on my son and he's been doing a great job there. The work in the classes are challenging and it prepares my child for a heavy work load in college. The only flaw this school has is that it does not have alot of after school activities such as sports. The school only has a basketball team and it needs to add other sports team such as a football team but academic wise, the school is great.
